Just wanted to check with some other mastercraft owners , we have a 2011 mastercraft X2 , and when turning it turns right much quicker and tighter than when it turns left . Never really noticed it in any other boat so not sure whether this is right or not. When we first got the boat it got damaged first ride out so i don't know whether it did it then or not. they had to replace prop , shaft , bearings, skeg ect. Is this normal to turn right better or have they not aligned something properly in the repair.
thanks

Yes, it is normal to a certain degree for your boat to do this do to the torque of the prop.

ahhh great , i assumed it was because of the direction the prop turned.
thanks

Get a twin engine Mastercraft, and you won't have this "problem." 8p

Lots of inboards turn better in one direction than the other.

Just to be sure that everything is assembled correctly, manually turn the rudder straight.
Now turn full left and then full right while counting steering wheel rotation each way. It should be equal but if not then your steering cable may be out of position where it is mounted near the rudder.
