After months of deliberating, we took delivery today of our new X45. I was mostly looking used, but the dealer was in a position to offer us a screamin' deal on this new one.

Action will sell boats for a great price to move inventory. I bought my 23 LSV for a very good price. Do your own service if possible. That's a great looking boat. Action doesn't mess around with ordering skimpy boats. There all out with every option and loaded optioned out trailers.

Beautiful boat! Love the colors, interior, power tower, low profile trailer option. What engine did you get?

If you get tired of it after 5+ years give me a shout! :D

This has the 6.0L. Had I ordered one, it would have been with the 6.2L, but I couldn't pass up this deal. The real test will be up at Powell this summer with it loaded down. I am eager to look at prop options including the 5 blade...

Action regularly orders boats with high altitude props. You may be sitting fairly good already for heavy load. I turned around and bought a standard prop set up due to having way too little of pitch.

Thank you. When does the X25 arrive?

End of next week around April 1st. It's done and sitting at MC waiting for transport out! I can't wait. What lake do you have your X45 at? And when are you going to Powell? We are going in August

Very very nice!! I too sat in your boat a few weeks ago when I was at action looking at a used 45 they had. That boat you bought is Sweet!! Action seemed to be decent guys to deal with. I got a great deal as well on a new one so ended up ordering a new X45 through my local dealer. It's currently in production and I'm dying to take delivery. I went with the 6.2 and am really looking forward to that that powerplant. I'll post pics when it arrives. Should be sometime mid to late April. Congrats on your new ride!!

That's funny. I was looking at the 2010 originally, but heard that it was going to North Carolina. At the same time I was reading your thread about your build options. Small world.

It was Northern California. I had worked a deal on the used 2010 but ended up finding a better deal here at my local dealer. I am taking delivery on my 2011 either this Friday or Saturday. Was impressed with Robby and Steve at Action Water Sports. Stand up guys. Had they been able to make the same deal, I would have no problem buying a boat from them.

Took delivery on this boat yesterday. 2011 X-45 with 6.0 Indmar. I searched high and low for an 11'. I still prefer the older towers, dash package, and the fact the radio is where it should be.

Yeah, it only had 2.2 hours on it. I picked it up at 1:00, and by the time we were done yesterday, it had 4 hours. Not sure who is more pumped, me or the kids?

Congrats on your new boat. Well done. Did you find it at California Skier in SoCal? I know they had some '11s I was considering.

True story on the older towers being nicer!

I too have a love for those 4 point towers. When shopping I felt that I did not need or want to pay $$ for the power tower. This was one of my great hang-ups with pulling the trigger on this deal. I looked into buying an '11 without the power tower, as well as building a new one with a manual tower. My dealer was so aggressive on price, however, that I paid less for this boat than I could have ordered one with a manual tower. That said, I do love the fact that I can lower it with the bimini installed while towing. There are no bugs on my speaker cans! It also gives me added peace of mind that I am not going to snag an overhang or some low-lying branches. I guess I'll make do with my power tower :D:D:D
