I have a 2005 PS 197 with a full size tower. Can anyone tell me of a more robust wire connection for the tower wire? I have to unplug it each time I drop the tower to get onto the lift and under the canopy.

I can't help you with the connectors, but you might consider a canopy skirt so you can raise your canopy high enough to clear the tower without taking it down. Look at this site (http://www.canopyskirts.com/gallery/Gallery.asp) . My buddy has an X10 and uses one of these things - works great.

Thanks for the link. This looks like a good solution because I have been getting a bit anoyed with raising and dropping the tower.

GM dealers have weatherproof easy to plug unplug connectors they use on their vehilcles. I am not sure how many wires your uses so I would suggest bring what you have to a GM dealer and show them what you want. I used several on my Jeep I built and they were the robust you speak of. Watch the size of the wire to when shopping. If I can find a picture I will post it.
