1987 PS 190 here. Indmar. Wanting to replace the wires.

I know I have to match them to my distributor cap, and I've searched the forum before asking, but I can't seem to figure out a great place to buy wires. It sounds like you can't simply use ones for a 351 due to the "marinization" of the engine.

Was hoping to get them at the local auto parts store, but are most of you guys going to skidim or other inboard retailers?

Thank you for any help!

When I replaced the wires on my 93, the tricky part was finding wires that were precut for length with right angle boots on both ends. I ended up buying them from White Lake Marine with the PlanetNautique discount. They are technically for the PCM 351, but they worked perfectly for my Indmar marinization and were a little less expensive than SkiDim.

Original wires on mine were Taylor 8mm. If you have a race shop near you, they probably have them. Cutting them might or might not be something they would do for you.

Hmm, those will probably work for my 87 as well. Thanks for the tip!

Dang, those are pricey! Thank you for the link though, I searched on that part number and it looks like they're available through Amazon for $50 shipped. Hmmm.
