Considering the handling characteristics of a vdrive boat .. what are folks preferred side of a dock to have a lift on... taking into consideration backing out etc..

Looking at the lake, I have mine on the left side...Not much to consider in my circumstance.
On an MC, you're going to swing to the right when in reverse.
