Beautiful Mastercraft Prostar 190 in absolute EXCELLENT condition! There are approximately 370 hrs on the hull, but only 12 hrs on the engine. Unfortunately the boat was not winterized correctly by the previous owner. The new motor was installed by a profesionally trained and certified Mastercraft dealership and comes with a transferable 18 month warranty. This boat has the 330 hp LT-1 Corvette Motor. Excellent for Skiing, Tubing or Wakeboarding. Comes with a Mastercraft trailerable cover (in great shape) and a trailer in excellent condition (bearings recently serviced). 17,500 obo

Thanks for looking!

Nice looking boat, a friend had one just like that one.

Transferable warranty should help with the sale. That interior looks a little generic, kinda like a sportstar.

Thanks!

That interior is exactly like a 99 SportStar.

Close but there are a few diffences. The motor box on a Sportstar is all fiberglass for one and has a chrome "rail" on the back. There are some other minor differences in the upholstery also but can't remember exactly what they are.

I have a 99 Sportstar Open Bow and the only difference between this boat is mine is as russlars points out which is my motorbox is all fiberglass where as the Pro Star has skins on it. My motor box does not have a chrome "rail" on it. Nice boat. Very clean.

I love the retro front deck of the 99 Prostars.

Does that back seat go up into a sundeck?

Into a sundeck? Not sure what you mean, the upper rear portion of the seat is upholstered and is a very comfortable place to relax on the boat. Does this help?

He's asking if the rear seat base can be pulled out and set up on the gunwhale deck to extend the sundeck/trunk vinyl. This was pretty common on mid to late 90s MCs.

Yes, I am sure it can be. It looks as if the ledge on the back gunwales are set up for that

Look under the seat on each side. There should be some square metal hooks there and two of these on the underside of the seat cushion. If there are, there were originally two black straps to attach to each of these hooks to keep the seat in place.

It sure doesnt look like it to me. I thought that option was only on the 95-98's, and again on the evo hull. 1999 was an odd year for MC interiors as they switched suppliers/designers for that year only, IIRC.

Mine would not sit on top to convert the back to a sun pad. The seat wasn't wide enough. Sure would have been nice to have that.

Bench does not convert on my 2000. It doesn't look like this 99 does either.

Like others have said, looks like a Prostar with a Sportstar interior. I just did a search and found some other 99 Prostars that look the same. Prostar in UK (http://www.mastercraft.co.uk/boat-stock/details/1998-ProStar-190-Sammy-Duval). 98 is different all together. It looks like the 98-00 hull had different interior each year. Interesting, I didn't know that.

Nice boat. Good luck with the sale.

The seat does have these hooks and straps underneath.

99 was the year the quality of marine vinyl for everybody went bad due to our fantastic EPA. The vinyl producers had to cut emissions during manufacturing and were not given any lead time to change their formulations. As a result the interiors in boats were bad from 99 through about 03-04.
