I guess I need a rec for the proper prop for my 08 x2 w MCX. Currently have the 14.25x 14.5 and my rpm seems to run too high when at say 30 mph my rpm will be 3400. That has to be a little bit inefficient on gas. We mostly slalom and some surf/wakeB. What do you all think or if Jason is out there?

I have the 14.75x15.5 in ours (2008 MS200) but we have the 6.0 engine.

Call Eric from OJ Props, tell him what you have, what you do, and what you are trying to achieve.
His number is in my sig...

Just for reference. I have 2010 MCX in X-15. I have the OJ #522 14.75 x 15.5. Typically we are between 1500 FT and near sea level. Not sure what RPM at 30 MPH but hole shot is good and does not over rev at WOT (don't recall the exact RPM but seem to remember about 4800). We wakeboard with stock ballast (not that much weight) and family of 4.

Thx all and Eric was great help BTW. Will go w/ the 14.75 x 15.50 eventually.

I run this prop on my '05 x-star with the MCX. I'm very happy with it, even with extra people and extra ballast. Plus my top speed is 40-41.....enough to barefoot.
