I'm looking to replace the wheels on my trailer. I have new tires so I want to stick with a 15" wheel. Which one do you think will look the best and I'm open to suggestions on others as well.

Here is a couple wics of the boat/trailer. I am currently re-doing the trailer and changing the color to a charcoal grey metallic.

based on your trailer style and boat year I would recommend either 3 or 4. If it was me I would go with the aluminum over the chrome for easier maintenance. if you go too modern, it looks out of place.

I agree, I think those would look better on a double axle trailer.

I 100% agree. I would stick with a more conservative look with his boat and trailer.
I like #2 or #3.

Man those all look good, I would really make sure all the wheels are solid and will not be subject to going out of round ..... Lower profile tires will protect the rim less and if you drive on roads that have a lot of pot holes may result in some out of round trailer wheels ..... I have dealt with that on cars so I stick to my stock trailer type wheels on the boat trailer.

Just some old man advice. . I do like #3 myself ....

Anyone else have any experience with the low profile trailer wheels with the wheel becoming out of round?

My OCD may be revealed if I told you that I balance my trailer wheels and tires, I just want a smooth ride for the boat.

I bought #5 for my old Gekko, with a black single axle trailer. They were very well made, easy to keep clean, ballanced easily, and the finish held up really well. I think I paid around $75 ea. for them 4 years ago. I like the looks of #2, and of course #3.

You don't have a picture of the wheels on the trailer do you?

I do, but not on my computer at work. I'll post some this evening when I get home. I checked my album here on the site, but all I have on it is the boat, no trailer.

I'm seriously considering this wheel. Can anyone photoshop this wheel/tire on my trailer?

I can't imagine why a person wouldn't balance a trailer tire, MCOCD or not.

"I can't imagine why a person wouldn't balance a trailer tire, MCOCD or not."

I am with you brother! But I have had some people look at me funny when I have pointed that out in the past ... I am also someone that insists that the weights be on the inside of the wheel ....

I got my new wheels in Friday and had them mounted up. I think it's a huge improvement over the original ones!

Those look great! Sorry I wasn't able to find any pics of them on my old Gekko's trailer, but those are the exact same wheels. They served me well for more than 2 years before I sold the boat.

p.s., I ended up running them without the center caps so that i didn't have to take off the wheel to grease the hubs....

These center caps have a removeable center section on these so you can greese them without removing the wheels.
