Me thinks his wifey was just fine with the given support and might be grateful that there wasn't more. On the other hand Doug, you do have almost 8k posts. You sure you weren't logged onto the site about 9 1/2 months ago during a special event??

We are all rootin for you and the misses. Take pics often and post em!!

mini thread jack here.

You know, it is pretty cool how tight knit we become on this site. We are all from different parts of the country (and world) and yet we talk on here like we have known each for years and are good friends. Neat place to be all! Hope you too recognize that!!

I too recognize and appreciate this. Topics covered here are priceless in comparison to how long it would take each of us to figure this out on our own.

Remember Eastie: Steve is a great name. Especially when the wife is pi$$ed at him later. STEPHEN!!! my mother used to say.

I always felt funny being congradulated - like, "oh, nice work buddy." "Gee thanks, you know the wife and I worked long and hard at it..."

HOs like Daddy Easty's.

My sympathies to your wife. I don't know which hurt worse the 6 inch incision or the gas after. You should love and appreciate her all the more for going through 9 months of pregnancy and getting a door cut to get your son out.

No more teasing us like that. 8p

Nichi,

Yeah well why they were in "there" they went ahead and changed the oil and rotated the tires. So, as she frequently says, unless they come up with a way for men to bare children we're at our quota for children.

I tried to have it done when my youngest was born. For some reason Catholic hospitals won't let you  . But we have it fixed now. ;)

Hi Andre. Everything is great. Yes, I'm off all next week. Had a couple of long nights while we get the little fella into a routine. Just got caught up on a little sleep and thought I'd see what was going on on the board for the last couple of days. Still haven't fully read this thread. Going to do that now.

Just read the thread. You guys are great. To answer a few questions without a great deal of detail ...

1. Yes, epidural.
2. Once, we got that, it was showtime in an hour-and-a-half.
3. He showed up soon thereafter (no c-section).

Fortunately, east tx skier mamaw is here for the week lending a hand. He had quite a fanclub at home coming. Things have calmed down today and that's a good thing.
