Decided today to get it. Should be all ours in a couple weeks. We added tower speakers and lights so that may take a bit plus i need to buy some time to make room for it!

Sweet, congrats! What engine does it have, and what will you be pulling that beast with!

BTW, Maeghan Major (pro rider) said that wake is one of her favorites!

Good looking boat! Maybe I'll see you floating around in it at Smith Lake!

My wife and I walk through that very 55 last year, if it is the one at Rambo near lake Martin. We tossed around the idea of picking it up but could not justify moving from the current 30 to the 55.

Your location says Smith Lake but I assume we'll see you anchored near chimney rock.

Beautiful looking 55. You need to give us the details as well, like which engine?

Thanks guys.

We are at Smith Lake and yeah you may catch us floating since that beast holds 90 gallons and we may be stuck with only affording 10 gallons/weekend...lol It was at Rambo in Hazlegreen but may have been at B'ham store for a while. It has the 6.0L Ilmore. decided 6.0L was enough although i am sure the 6.2 would have a bit more power. It was really hard for me to tell from inside and not being behind it (it was 50s with a 25mph wind and 30+ wind gust + 2 barges cruising through). I am use to a PS 205 with 285 HP and it would scream (of course would never have gotten it off the trailer in those conditions). This is a ~5500+# boat so didnt expect it near the 205. seemed to have plenty of a hole shot for boarding and surfing. A friend is most likely buying my 205 so will have access to a slalom run. I think most everything is pretty much standard on it aside from the JLs and tower lights we ordered. More pics to follow. hopefully from the lake! Or atleast one behind the tow rig...

Congrats on the new boat! Are you allowed to run your boat on Smith Lake? never been there but from Google maps it looks kinda small. Most lakes of that size in TN they don't allow boats to have an engine or it has to be under a certain size.

:cool:Congrats on the boat, we love our 2011 X55, best thing we ever did for family by far. You will love it. We tow with the same truck but long bed, no issues. Use a credit card that gives you miles on airplines, it adds up quickly! Sick boat, just like all the other MC boats. Welcome to the club.

Geeze- I wish I could afford the toys you guys get to play with. :worthy: Between the truck and boat, that's a very nice setup.

Well it's either spend it now or travel when I am older and can't walk. I like the first option better. I will be holding onto this boat for at least 10 years, unless another 55 catches our eye. LOL:D

Smith Lake is anything but small. I'm not sure you could ride the whole lake in a day.

Ok. I see it now. Yeah that is a good size lake. The Smith lake I found first was ENE of Huntsville. lol Sorry for the confusion.

Nice boat. My family (Dad and GrandDad) bought Chevy's from Rambo Chevrolet (Fayetteville, TN) for over 50 years, getting a new Chevy Truck every 10 years. My dad had a 1964, 1974, 1985, 1997, and now a 2007 Chevrolet Truck and most were bought from Rambo. They sold the dealership sometime in the early 1990's I think, then Scooter Rambo started Rambo Marine, which I would always drive or ride by as a kid and dream of one day MAYBE, having a boat. I never dreamed of having a boat as nice as a Mastercraft.

I really love the tag, though. Roll Tide.

I am hoping for good weather on the 16th. That's when I ask for them to deliver. That's a friday so I should have the lake pretty much to myself. I doubt the 90 gallon tank will stay full that day (weather permitting). Next purchase has to be a new lift. Current HH UL is a 4500# so will upgrade. That reminds me...anyone need a HH lift for a 10' slip? 3 years old like new. 4500.00.
