Hi

I just bought a new 2011 X-2 sight unseen (I've seen pictures thought). I don't love the X2 graphic. Will this be a decal I can just peel off and either leave blank or replace w/ something?

thanks for your insights

Looks like Portland Ski Boat Center, correct?
As long as you are just talking about the Mastercraft logo you should be fine.

Indeed Portland Ski Boat Center. I got one of the leftovers and am very excited for it. It's a dream come true really. I can't believe it! Yes I'm just talking about the X2 sticker and will wait to to see it in person before there's any peeling.

Thanks for the help fellas.

Funny, I am removing my 07 X2 graphics with plans to update them to a newer style like yours or maybe the bullseye.........

Nice, TT forum member tr6coug and I were there a few weeks ago and looked at that boat.

Yeah, that is a sweet boat. I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

I love the black/white combo. I could live with the X2 decal as well...not too flashy.

Not many of the '11s got shipped with those decals, only the first 2-3 weeks of production iirc. I also thought that all of the boats that had those decals were supposed to get a set of new ones...check with the dealer about getting the current set for the boat.

Ha, nice magic. I do think I like better without. Thanks for the advice on asking the dealer for a new one. Not positive I'd put it on but a good option. Yeah I don't see many w/ this design, so early and brief release makes sense now. I guess makes it rare, although perhaps only because they came up w/ something better! Should be fun regardless. Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm happy to be part of the MC family. A

Sweet boat kskonn!

Yes that's the design I've seen on all other 2011s. I don't mind my paint. Will decide on the decal once I see it in person this Summer. Thanks again guys. See you on the water. A

Where will you be boating this summer............

BrooksfamX2: If our name comes up on a wait-list for a slip on Lake Oswego we'll put it in there all Summer. If not then we'll get out and around Oregon and perhaps also Washington. Lake Billy Chinook, Prineville, maybe Detroit. Are there places you'd recommend? Part of me actually hopes the first year we don't put it into LO so we can explore the lakes of Oregon!

We are in Albany and another TT member is in Corvallis. We have about 8-10 OR and WA families that go to Shasta twice a year. We also go to Detroit, Fern Ridge and sometimes Billy Chinook.

BrooksfamX2: Ah cool. I went to OSU ('93 grad) so know Albany and Corvallis well. I went to Shasta a few times when I was a teenager. My parents would rent a house boat with another family then we'd hook up with a few others. My parents had a 20' Wellcraft boat and we'd spend a week. Great memories of lots of waterskiing (before wakeboards!) and one of the reasons I've just bought a boat (we now have three kids around the same time my parents bought the Wellcraft). I'd love to get down there at some point, maybe early June. How old are all of your kids? A

We go mid June and end of July. There are kids from 1-teenagers in the group....we have young grandkids now..... This will be our 13th year in a row going to Shasta. Stay at antlers RV. Most have motorhomes or rent trailers from Antlers.

Wow, 13 years! You're a good person for advice then :) . I went so far as to look at houseboat rentals a few days ago and wow have they gotten expensive. Maybe we'll look into staying on land like you guys do. Do you think Antlers is the best of the bunch?

Antlers is great. The marina is nice also and its right there at the RV park. We started going to Antlers cuz its the first place you come to from the North and its easy access from I5. Bring that new boat down. There are 4 X2's in the group now.......

If you book now for mid June, you can get the winter rates for a houseboat.

There is a "boys" houseboat trip scheduled for the first weekend in May, but I cant make it.
