Fist of all, I am fairly certain that this is the correct place for this thread. I just wanted to post some pics of the new LED lights that Neal at Texas Ski Ranch put on my boat. They did a great job. The pictures do not do the work justice, but a cell phone was all I had last night when I first saw them. Hope you like it.

I have no clue, it was a gift of sorts. I can ask ski ranch what the charge would be and let you know. It took them a lot of labor time to get it done.

I was under the impression that for the whole setup it would run aroun 1000-1500.

They actually custom made all of the mounting brackets etc... it was not drop in lights already made. They also of course had to run new wire to all of the speaker locations, power, tower etc..

they used wildcat lighting LED's

The rings for the Rev 8s / Rev 10s are $150 - $175 each from wetsounds
The rings for the wetsounds speakers in the boat are $99 for a pair
The subwoofer led ring is $99
Lumitec Light rail2 in red for the gunnels is about $60

Well I guess when you add it all up your looking at $800 - $900 in just LEDs... yikes!

Rev 8's for 54 and most others for 35. Unsure of quality but 1/2 the price Ive seen on others

The other thing to consider on this particular install is that they did not use any light rings, nothing prefabbed. Everything was made from Scratch. They wanted to go with a less directional look of an led ring. In person each speaker basically has a "glow" to it, except the subs, the entire SUB is lit up kid of opposit of a light ring.

I talked to the Tech that installed all this and he said it took a total of about 20 hours to install and another 6 hours to fab all the lights and mounting brackets. I will get out the good camera and take some clearer pics.

I don't have pictures but I can get pictures. On the subs they built a mounting bracket that mounts behind the cernter of the grill cover and shoots back towards the sub.

On the towers they built two brackets, one that goes inside the top of the grill cover and shines down, as well as one that shines up. if you are up close and at a certain angle you can see them.

Just purchased $25 worth of red LED's on ebay for 5M of tape. They are pretty sweet hooked up to 9v. They are waterproof, flexible, and cut to lenght. I plan on installing them in cup holders, speaker grills, gunwells, and any other crevasses I might find. I will post pictures in the spring when finished.
