Do you need to grease the shaft on the mastercrafts x2. I don't know much about these dripless shaft setups. Is there any real day to day maintanence on these boats , or just the regular servicing.
cheers

Nothing to grease on the prop shaft to my knowledge. Water keeps the strut bushing lubed when the boat is in the water. Never put the boat in gear when on the trailer.

You may or may not have a grease fitting on your rudder shaft and steering cable. Some of the older boats have a fitting but newer ones may not.

Do you have a Saltwater Series boat? If not you should have the standard rack and pinion steering. There should be a Zerk fitting on the rudder box and two fittings on the fitting that holds the steering cable about two feet from the rudder under the motor. You should also apply a light coating of grease to the steering cable where it exits the cable sheath.

yes it is the saltwater series boat. it is great to drive with the hydraulic steering. hopefully there are no hassles associated with it.
