Has anyone had to fix loose steering on a boat similar to mine? I have two plus inches of play and I'm wondering if this is adjustable or should I have the whole cable/assembly replaced......which I've been told requires dismantling much of the interior to get to it and the rudder.

I tried to pull the gas tank out of my 94 and didn't make it.. You would probably have to pull the seat bases to get to the floor screws and remove them..... Thats what screw guns are for..
And my steering is nice and tight, so yours is not correct......

Why did you want to remove your tank and did you ever get it out?
