View Full Version : Anyone tried a "Hawk Eye" Depth Finder in Their MC?

Hey all... Was wondering if anyone had bought a Hawk Eye depth finder. They look pretty decent and most reviews are good, but I wanted to know if anyone had tried them in our boats and how they like em. I am looking at these because Humminbird no longer makes the gauge model with the puck transducer.... I have zero interests in drilling holes in my transom. The Hawk Eye is a puck transducer.

I fitted a Hawkeye depth gauge and thru hull transducer in my previous boat (not MC) and it worked perfect, it also had the low depth alarm which was adjustable depth setting, something my MC 2007 X2 does not have

I had one on my old prostar and it worked fine as long as it's installed correctly. Might be cheaper on Amazon.
