I've searched and searched but can't find a thread that list the size of the shaft seal packing nut. Does anyone know?

I can measure tomorrow but I have yet to find anythhing that is practical for fit. I use an adjustable pipe wrench and a larger pair of slip-joint pliers (Channellocks). Leave your floor section out until you run it on the lake and make the adjustments. I leave the engine cover off as well as the rear floor section. Don't forget a shot of grease to the rudder if it has a zerk.

Thanks 81.

Cloaked, mine is a v drive so it's nearly impossible to get any conventional tools in there. I have a cnc plasma table so I think I'm going to make me a couple of short wrenches with a 1/2" square hole in the handle. This will allow me to put a wratchet on it.
