I just bought a well used 1994-Prostar 190...it pulls pretty hard to the right. I have spent a lot of time in a 91-190, which pulls a little, but not nearly as hard as the 94...Do I need to align something, shave the rudder or just learn to live with it?

Welcome. Answer is it depends how hard the pull is. If I let go of my 93 at speed, the wheel will spin. My rudder was filed when I bought the boat. Now that I'm used to it, anything else feels loose to me. You can compensate with a little shaving on the opposite trailing edge of the rudder. Just do a little at a time though as you can't undo it.

That's really up to you. I have mine shaved to where under 34mph she pulls almost straight, for my wife; 34 and above, the boat pulls to the right.

Your drive shaft could be out of alignment.

has the rudder already been shaved on one side? IF so, then your pull is result of that mod for slalom course driving
if NOT, then yes, you may have an alignment problem that needs checking.
