Adhesive recommendation for loose carpet

The carpet inside the fender wells on my '97 trailer is coming loose and some of the non-slip pads are starting to peel back too. Has anyone got a recommendation on the best adhesives to get things stuck down again?

It appears that the carpet was originally glued with a bead of some sort of clear adhesive.

3M adhesive spray #77 (I think that's the one) worked like a charm on my fender carpet. Contact cement would work well too probably.
