I'm in central alabama and I'm in the market for an early 2000's X-star, X-10 or X-30. I don't care if they are the non "x" variants, though i'd rather it already has a tower. I'm at the cash in hand stage. I don't mind driving a bit for a good deal. Thanks, Brian.

I am probably selling my 2007 X1 but have a guy that has asked right of first refusal before I go to sell. Looking to get $38K.

if you look, you can find good deals. I bought mine about two years ago, 2000 maristar, the x-10 variant, had the tower, full sound system, all the boat toys for the kids and most adults to include board and ski. I paid under 25K. I am very happy with the deal I got. Just keep cruising craigslist and word of mouth. Sometimes dealers have to charge a little more to help them out. I am not saying ALL dealers, but some do.

i've been scouring CL daily. not much around. no hurry though.

bobx1 - thanks for the offer, too rich for my blood. my budget is pretty much low 20's.

I am in north al. I was looking last winter and ended up driving to northwest arkansas to buy my boat. Atlanta and Nashville seem to have a lot of boats for sale, but all the good deals sold before I had time to take a look at them.

Saw this boat when I was looking for mine... the guy really needs to move the boat so he is definitely willing to deal.. the last offer he gave me was $16K. The catch is that there is no trailer..

Even w/o trailer that's nice find. I am sure someone from the site could find a used trailer. For 16 k it's def worth checking out. That's good price for what appears to be a clean boat from the pics.

I agree. That boat looks to have been meticulously maintained.

A little more on the boat.. it was/is a club boat with about 900 hours with the 310HP motor. According to the owner it has been well maintained by their in house mechanic but being a club boat it does show some wear especially the rub rail. I could not find any damage to the hull or anywhere else on the boat form the pictures I saw. The tower seems odd to me and does not appear to fold. I think it is a good deal but the owner emailed me this price after I found and committed to my 205V.. not having a trailer was really a problem for me..

the tower makes me a little nervous. a quick google search showed an old TT thread where one of their towers suffered significant damage while pulling a tube.

i don't know much about club boats, but my guess is they get used pretty hard.

i'm going to be in georgia shortly and i'll be looking at these 3 boats

the yellow x30 comes the closest to what we want, i posted a thread about this boat and the consensus was that it was a 22K boat.

the 04 x10 is out of our price range, but maybe they really want to sell a boat before xmas.

the x45 is the cheapest one i've found. to afford it, i'd have to sell my other boat, and i'm not sure i can part with my beloved pontoon.

Well that's a whole different price range.....

Yeah I didn't care for the tower and I looked back at my emails and the owner said that it does collapse butit is a pain. However, from what I have read you shouldn't be pulling tubes from the tower (with any tower) for safety reasons.

Did you make the guy an offer on the yellow X30?

i'm pretty much settled on low 20's as my budget. i might stretch up to 25 for the 04 x10 but my guess is they won't go that low. i do like the x10/MCX combo. i figure my current boat is worth about 20K, so if i sold/traded it i could possibly get into an x45. i talked to the guy with the yellow x30 on the phone and he said he turned down 31K over the summer. he's said he thinks he is about to get divorced and that is why he wants to sell. my guess is he's not gonna accept 22K.

the main reason i'm going to see all these boats is i'll be there anyway for the holidays. i'd probably go see the x30 anyway as its only 100miles from me, but i probably wouldn't make the trip to see the x10 or the x45

ended up with an '02 X30. lil' bit of a fixer upper, but it has a lenco trim tab already installed, high altitude prop, and was plumbed with 3 aftermarket pumps to feed 2 750's in the rear and the single stock ski locker sac. got her all polished up and now waiting for my skins to come in. maybe in the water next weekend if the MC gods are smiling.
