Motor is not an lt1. Does anyone know the fram part number or any other manufacturer for this filter? I see discussions about different oil for this motor, anyone had success with Mobil 1, or Mobil 1 synthetic? Have to winterized this week and lost all part numbers etc. Thanks

Oil - I use Shell 6 synthetic lots of zinc, oil filters napa 1069, fram xg30, ph 30, mobil 1 m1-111. I also used Rotella Triple and Mobil 1. I switched from Mobil 1 to Rotella Triple cause of Zinc levels and then to T6 to run a synthetic. T6 is heavy duty lot's of zinc, no oxidation cause its not dino oil... and I like it over rotella triple because its exceeds triple rotella's specs for shear.

Is it the Napa 1069 or 1016?

If you have a SM Block Chevy 5.7L you can use the Mobil-1 M1-302 oil filter. It's the longer version of the M1-111.

Is it the Napa 1069 or 1016?The NAPA 1061 is the long version of the 1069. Both will work fine, the longer filter has more filter area.

WIX part numbers 51061 & 51069

NAPA 1061 that's the ticket. I had used the M 1-302 for years when I was running the Mobile 1 synthetic.

.80 cents more for an about an inch(filter length) more of filter area...not a bad idea...no change in flow though...both rated 9-11 GPM but burst pressure 60psi more...285 on 1061 versus 225 on 1069..

Yes, picture is the same as mine, but not as clean. Thank everyone for all their knowledge, winterizing complete till next spring. Now, where does evryone get their parts? Alot of places don't have a cross reference available. Is there a way to search by hull number?

Hull ID number will not necessarily find you a parts reference...

Hey bare5... yeah +1 www.skidim.com, www.waterskis.com. www.inboardonline.com, ace hardware - for grade 8 bolts and of course Napa for Filter and inline fuel filter 23481.

Happy winterizing... you may want to look at the thermostat, could be a vintage thermostat in there...plus then its easy to pour the RV antifreeze colling water jacket.
