Thanks for all of the compliments. We went out today for a while... I wanted to teach my wife how to drive it. She is learning and doing well so far.

There is a group of us going out tomorrow, we will get a lot of pics for sure!

Thanks,
David

We had a good time yesterday... went through a whole tank of fuel. My legs and back are sore!! heh, only a couple more weekends of soreness and I should be back in shape!

I absolutley love the boat, it yanked out of the water with 6 adults and full ballasts with no problem :D

Hey, what is the best way to get water out of the front ski locker (where the front ballast is) I cant find any kind of drain?

I'm in Jacksonville... Jim, I am looking for some tower speakers and lights, where can I get the JL ones that have the lights built into the front?

Thanks!
David

tunedport, I have an X7 with the same color combo, I can't believe how much higher the bow is out of the water than mine. Nice boat. I have the Clarion tower speakers with the lights in front. Very hard to aim, but real bright. And hard to keep clean, seems like a magnet for bugs. We have to clean them every trip. We are in search for a TOWER COVER or something to keep that from happening.

Do you really have a cj5 with Tuned Port injection? That sounds like quite a beast. Got any pic's?

Hey, who gave you the authority to end a thread jack?:uglyhamme ?

Now David, from the look of that one photo, you may be holding out on us..

No worries, Jimmer - I was wondering the same thing.

Nice pics of the boat, David. I see you're riding on the river. We have a decent size group of ski/wake boats going to Silver Glen on September 4th if you're interested.

I use to have a CJ5 with a 305 tpi motor. http://www.terratraction.com/albums/Duval/DSC01679.sized.jpg That was a few years ago... I've stepped it up a little to this http://www.terratraction.com/albums/quarry/DSC03501.sized.jpg Check out my site: www.terratraction.com

Davo, yeah that is the river. Man, is it nasty right now or what?? We went to Kingsley Lake this past weekend (those are where the last set of pics were taken) :D

Actually we were thinking about heading to the Glen this coming weekend 8/28. What is going on September 4th? Just a bunch or us hanging out or are there any comps going on? Where are you located?

Thanks,
David

I never really thought about it before - but.... do you have hydraulic steering? how else would you be able to turn the front wheels with that much flex in your front end?

Wow, that jeep is jacked.

I'm in the North Orlando area...about halfway to Daytona. As for Sept 4th - we usually get a group to go to the Glen on the Sunday before Labor Day and Memorial Day. It's crowded and fun, but not extremely packed and you have Saturday to prepare and the following day off to unwind.

So far, there are at least three boats coming up from my area and a couple from Ocala (Lake Wier). We launch in Astor down the street from the Blackwater Inn. http://www.blackwaterinn.com/ If we get there early enough we'll ride on the river and then go to the Glen around 10-11am.

This weekend I'll be in Ohio for a wedding and I'd watch the weather - they're talking about that tropical wave down by the Bahamas affecting the state by this weekend.

awesome! :worthy:
PLEASE get us a pic up here with the MC hooked to the superjeep!

edit

AND...... hypothetically of course ;) , what's out there on the market if some crazy guy with an HD chevrolet 4x4 wanted IRS that was solid enough for every day driving?

Thanks for all of the compliments... I have been pretty busy lately and havent had time to go wheelin. Oh well, its too hot anyways!!

Ric, IRS? Independent Rear suspension? Why would you want to do that?

I'm thinking aloud but, I would think it's the best way to get ground clearance and suspension travel without huge tires since the majority of the time the vehicle is NOT used off-road.
I could be honest and say it would just be cool to have but I have a few reasons why.

Here is an older picture of my Injected YJ. I'll have to find some recent ones after the second complete rebuild. (I just got rid of it a few months ago) Took me three years to build it.(Well, I should say three years to build it twice, if at first you don't suceed, try, try again)

Nice CJ tunedport.
