Was out in my yard today flying my airplane and wouldn't you know it...nose dive into the ground. Pretty much destroyed the nose/engine area of the aircraft.
Does anyone know a good way of fixing these balsa/plywood planes or how to reinforce it for the next time around? I'd love to hear of anyone's experience.

Was this a glow powered or electric model? If glow and the balsa got saturated with fuel, putting some denatured alcohol on it will get rid of the oil residue so the glue sticks. If the balsa is not contaminated, just buy some cyanoacrylate glue from a hobby shop (sometimes hardware stores carry too). It's basically same thing as super glue but a little more refined. If you can get all the pieces to fit back together like a puzzle, the glue will hold everything just fine - then you can layer a thin sheet (1/16" or 1/32") behind the repair to reinforce.
I've been building and flying RC planes for 25 years, so PM me if you need a better description of my jibberish :D
