Guys. Any feedback on the asking price? Seems a bit steep

I don't think so - seems like a legit starting price. Low hours, good condition for age, and maybe one owner? You can find plenty of trashed out late '80s for $5K and under...good ones run a little more IMHO.

Original owner, low hours, and good condition.... I think the price is very fair.....

Looks nice to me. I would rather have a one owner, low hr.non salt, garaged boat anyday. Interior, capet, gelcoat and motor repair, adds up to a whole lot more on an abused example. Its worth paying more for. You will save money in the long run.

I can vouch for that from my experience on my ragged out 88 Prostar....only saving grace is it is a Mastercraft and it sure pulls!

Hindsight though does kick me in the backside and tell me I should have had more patience for this boat to have come along!

Don't feel bad thats how I learned to, on a 91 prostar. I am sure there are many here that have been through the same deal.

Agree...my 88 has 1000hrs(compresion good runs strong) and needs an interior (in process), and I value my boat between 4-5k....so this seems spot on for a start. Looks good!

Chrisoswald sounds like you need to come see my boat. I will probably get a chance to summerize it soon. I need to make room for my new boat. Thanks Jeff

Love the pictures of your boat. If I didn't already have an 89 I'd buy it!

I'm in Andalusia. Jumped of Chimney Rock few times over the years. Good luck with the boat sell. Our boat is parked up at Gantt Lake north of town. The wife and kids want to rent a place at Lake Martin for a week so we'll see where that goes...it would seem silly to me to rent a lake house when you own one?
