Is this a rediculous amount for a cover? The place that gave me the quote is well respected and I'm sure it will be nice but this seems like a lot to me given what you can buy the pre-made covers for.

Sounds high to me.

Try skiboatcovers.com Looks like $519 for top of line Sunbrella.

I plan to buy one from there for next year.

For $850 does it come with someone to put it on and take it off?

They probably don't have a pattern and had to figure in some extra time.

Had a brand new cover made for my 79 two years ago out of sumbrella material from a local guy, total cost with tax around $550, seems a little steep to me.

Does it have MasterCraft printed across the front? If so, that is about the right price. Several years ago I had one stolen and I think the replacement was about that or more.

I had a custom cover made for my 200VRS and it cost me $500 cash.

The guy doubled the material at the pylon, the support poles, and also added a row of snaps at the stern. I went with a 100% waterproof material (not sure what it was called) and itís pretty heavy duty. Only problem is it traps moisture under the cover so Iíve got to install vents. Your price seems a bit on the high side.

I will be ordering one soon from boatcoversdirect.com. I am going with the Sharkskin plus and black in color. It will be around 370.00.
