I am in the market for some new decals, but am interested in trying something different this time around. Any ideas out there? Or, feel free to show what you have done.

This is a poor picture to encourage ideas.

Might just be the picture of me but I bet she would look 100x different with a good compounding and waxing. Other than that I think you are kind of limited with the hockey stick

No, i think you are right. That pic was a couple of years ago and it probably needed a little TLC. I used to buff it out and wax every other year or so and it sits in the water all summer. It started to look pretty crummy so now I stay on it pretty well. That being said, the guy I ski with likes to practice the ramming technique of docking. Hence the need for new decals...

I have the exact same boat, and was actually thinking of trying a vinyl decal wrap of some sort to totally change the looks. Maybe even an old school Stars & Stripes look to it. The sky is the limit with wraps, and you can always peel them off and get back to original very easily....

I like the idea of a wrap. Although, for the price I could probably go somewhere warm this winter and get a few sets in.

I'd love to go with an old school wrap though. Any idea how they hold up?

I was also contemplating just putting on bigger decals on the side like some of the newer boats. MASTERCRAFT can never be big enough !

I think the color lines are in a bad spot on these boats and make it difficult for things to look good. I prefer the boats that have a solid color on top. Unfortunately, our boat is white on white, but it was a good deal when we bought it. Here are a few photos of before and after (lots of cleaning and buffing). Here is what we did: we have added a few more stars since these pictures were taken.

Yeah, the solid color would be nice. I think your new decals look great. However, I am not sure I could pull that off with my color scheme. Can I ask where you got the decals?

Thanks. We sourced the decals at a local vinyl place that does car wraps. Speedpro.com they have numerous franchises around.
