Well... The time has come in central Minnesota, I hauled the 197TT into my buddies last Friday to be winterized, shrink wrapped and stored until the snow melts. What does everyone do in the "off season?" Here are a couple of my off season hobbies...

Spend a lotta time at the kid's basketball, indoor soccer, and musical performances. Also, get out to ski on the snow a bit. Often at Cascade Mountain, which is where it looks like OnWisconsin might be skiing as well. Also, watch some football, and have a couple drinks with NordicRon.

My wife sells metal work at arts & craft shows, so I spend a lot of time under a welding helmet. Winter is also when I do my projects around the house. Last year we painted 5 rooms added crown molding and layed new wood floors in most of the house. This year I think I'm going to do a small addition and remodel the master bath.

And hunt/fish every chance I get.

That is a PLOW. Holly crap. Makes me wish I lived in an area that got lots of snow. That looks like fun.

Just posting this because my response to the last thread on this was too long to repost. Not chiding the OP for starting the thread by any means. Enjoy these threads a lot.

In that picture, the rope doesn't look long enough to get to where the boarder started.

I know this sport exists, just saying that picture doesn't look real to me. :D

Sure, because once you get really involved in posting it quickly becomes way more than a hobby.:D:D

Ramerman,
it's Eddie Roberts III, one of our guys here. I missed that day at the lake. Doesn't happen very often but this day was pretty epic.

Obsession, yes that is what my wife says and not just about boating. :D

Skiing, snowboarding, backpacking (not necessarily off season), snow shoeing, snow camping and just recently added Scuba (Monterey Bay is warmest during the fall). All-in-all, don't mind so much putting the boat away for a while. Otherwise, I would not do anything else.

Your hobby is great! At the usual time. I like staying at home to play WoW (http://www.live4mmo.com/wow-tcg-loot) and go shopping sometimes.

No Off season down under. pretty much ski straight through winter. But when the boats parked we usually get on our road bikes and go riding, play golf poorly, and most of all build and sell radio controlled boats, hangout with family friends and the beloved Black Labrador dog who thinks hes human.
