Just got a 2005 X-10 two weeks ago from a dealer that Mastercraft was revoking their dealership. The perfect pass is on the side by the throttle. Three buttons off/on, speed/manual/rpm, and +/_. How does it work? Is it really Perfect Pass? Can't find any info in the books that came with the boat.

Let me rephrase that.....
is it a football shaped black plastic plate with mastercraft ENGRAVED into it?
if so, it's mastercraft cruise, not perfect pass and should work fine

There is not a faceplate other than the Speedometer and it does say Mastercraft. When I have tried two use the Perfect pass it doesn't seem to take.
ok the three buttons by the throttle that you mention.... they have some sort of housing? thats what I'm calling a face plate. if it has mastercraft engraved in it, it's not perfect pass, it's mastercraft cruise
it doesn't work?

When I turn it on it flashes either speed or rpm in the display on the speedometer, but it doesn't take over like you woud expect.

If it is a PP there is a problem with the loaded boats and programing. Hopefully they will have a solution soon.
That's weird, mine has buttons too but they are in a black housing
touble is, I don't use it because I do have perfect pass
Yours being TBW, should require the ecm to be flashed for either mastercraft cruise or perfect pass (whichever you have installed)
here is a pic of the cruise and of the PP
bad pic I know but the cruise is right under the clarion remote by the throttle
