I saw this posted on FB by someone I went to high school with but I refused to comment on it because you will never change a person opinion, and mostly because it’s playing the race card again. Obama took over the job claiming to be able to fix the problems and he only made them worse. I take that back, he only claimed he would “change” the problems.

I'm sure they have a nice view from the house, but we've never seen anyone walk down the hill and actually use the dock. I guess they would draw straws to see who will carry the cooler.

My darling husband, Before you return from your business trip, I just want to let you know about the small accident I had with the pick up truck when I turned into the driveway.

Fortunately it's not too bad and I really didn't get hurt, so please don't worry too much about me.

I was coming home from Wal-Mart, and when I turned into the driveway I accidentally pushed down on the accelerator instead of the brake.

The garage door is slightly bent but fortunately the pick up came to a halt when it bumped into your car.

I am really sorry, but I know with your kind-hearted personality you will
forgive me. You know how much I love you and care for you my sweetheart.

I am enclosing a picture of the damage for you.

I cannot wait to hold you in my arms again.

Your loving wife.

My boss has a friend who has been in Thailand for about a year. He is still trying to find some of the pictures showing how people just climb up on the power poles and connect their own wires....it's a real rat's nest (not to mention a fire hazard). They've had a lot of flooding this year it doesn't seem to bother most of the natives. I guess they don't have electrical codes so there is no concern for GFI outlets.

2007 x-80 Twin MCXs

I did some surfing behind your old 2007 last summer at Priest Lake, ID. I had to listen to my daughters talk about how awesome the X-80 was compared to our lowly X-2 for the rest of the summer. Your new boat looks awesome! Can't wait to see more pics ...

Yeah, once you surf behind an x80, its hard to surf behind anything else. I was tempted to get a new X55 as I loved my 2010 x55, but the 55 still doesnt hold a candle to the x80 when it comes to surfing.

So Jeverett does the truck weigh more or less full of helium at a weigh station???

Trick Question.
A. More because it is compressed helium, when the helium is gone it is just uncompressed air. If the helium were not compressed it would be to much $$ to haul.

Really cool, rare color photos from post depression era. Link below...

These images, by photographers of the Farm Security Administration/Office of War Information, are some of the only color photographs taken of the effects of the Depression on America’s rural and small town populations. The photographs and captions are the property of the Library of Congress and were included in a 2006 exhibit Bound for Glory: America in Color.

After the reading the “cure for a hangover” thread I had to dig up some old photos of my 67 Cougar. My wife (girlfriend at the time) and I had been out partying and were on the way home after dropping off some friends down a winding gravel road. I turned for a second to speak to her and when I looked back the road had taken a sharp left but I continued to go straight…over a 75 foot creek bank…at midnight.

I tossed the empty bottle of Jack but apparently it hit a tree and landed about 10 feet from the car. Her brother found the bottle along with several of the plastic “Party cups” the next morning. This was in the late 80s and since then I rarely have more than a beer or two, and I’ve never gotten behind the wheel after drinking. And no more hangovers!! :D

Only going about 25 MPH. Only had lap belts in the 67 but we weren't wearing them. We slowly rolled 1 1/2 times down the hill and when we stopped we were laying on the roof and I still had one hand on the wheel. All we got were a few bruises and some cuts from the glass. If the water had been deeper we would have been goners. Neither door would open so we had to crawl out the broken window. I laugh every time I see these TV programs telling you how to survive if your car goes into a river or something. It took me several minutes just to calm my wife down (she was freaking out) and I spent 10 or 15 minutes trying to get a door open.

Good ol' Ford/Mercury product. It didn't sound good, but I still had to reach up and cut the engine off with the key!:D
