I have a 2007 X-2 with the wake plate and surf ALOT. I was in a buudy's on my lake 2010 X-2 with surf tabs, and unfortunately I can say, there IS a difference. The wake is MUCH longer, And I have more weight. Has anyone retrofitted these on an 07? Or does someone have the info of the size and type of lenco tabs they are? Unsure of what I would do about gauges or switch placement. But you really only use them all the way up or all the way down. Pics would be GREAT!! Thanks

There is a member here with an X2 that installed them on his boat, peettee79 I believe. You might look for post by him, but I think he said they did nothing for his wake. You guys might discuss the difference in your 3 boats. It might lead to better surfing for all of you.

See this post on the X2, '09 is the same hull as the '07. The only reason I would like to add the tabs is we could probably get away with less ballast (Walkway Bag) and would be good when we have less people. With that said, I have surfed an X25 with Tabs and stock ballast, the only difference with this an my X2 is the X25 has a slightly taller wave. My son surfed an X25 stock with Tabs and said the wave sucked compared to mine, I was not on the boat, so they must not have had it set up correctly.

Most of my surfers are regular, so we weight the port side... The Starboard side is just slightly better.

Stock Port - Full
425# Fly High X2 Bag - Full (Plumbed In via Overflow)
KGB - Full
350# down the walkway - Full - This bag will extend your wave
3-4 peeps on the port side - 1 peep in the bow, port side - Where they sit can also effect the wave length, depending on water depth, try having them sit in different spots along the bow port side.
Center Tab - Up
Speed - 9.4 to 9.6 MPH

After a lot of searching it looks like lenco makes a 12x12 edgemount kit. There is no 14X12 that I can find anywhere, even on their own site. CAn someone with aa X2 with surf tabs measure them???

I measured by buddys 2010 X-2's surf tabs and they measure 12X9. Will 12X12's work or should I stick with 12X9's ?????
