Hello

I have a 2005 X Star and the swim pad padding has come off.
Can anyone tell me what the Factory uses to glue the Swim Platform Pad down?
I have talked to a few different people and have gotten the run around.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I personally used 3M 5200 MARINE ADHESIVE to glue mine back down. Then put a line of caulk around the edge. Been holding for over 2 years now with no problem.

Only down side is the 3M 5200 MARINE ADHESIVE has a 7-day cure time. Definitely worth it though. I did it in the off season so it wasn't an issue.

Here are a couple threads with more info:

I use weldwood contact cement from lowest or homedepot on turf jobs on stand up freeystyle jetskis. Stuff is great! Just do a couple coats on each surface and let them dry... And i mean dry! Then make sure you have a extra set of hands cause as soon as they touch there stuck.

I pressure wash it and then oil it
