There was some discussion about the possibility of adding a chat room to the forum last year.
I believe that TT posted a poll and asked what we thought about it.
I think it could work.
It seems that there are many times when we basically "chat" on a thread.
I know one concern might be post count and it might be difficult to achieve balance.
Perhaps it could be tried on a trial basis.
What does everyone think?
Pros? Cons?

Oh man I am screwed if they add this function. I spend way to much time on here anyway!! I guess we can just kick productivity right out the door!

I said no.

Then I'd never get any work done.

People already post at chat room speed then the rest of us bozos can read three hundred posts to catch up.

Post count - think of all the comments gone for ever and no counter to show for it.

No archival search. What if I wanted to search shampoo? I think that TMC should add a message to the front page to run a search on before you ask about certain models.

That must be Doug's boat; it has the standard transom strap on it. (I'm working on installing one)
