So the guy at DIM gave me some advice on what to do, boat failed to do what was necessary so a new circulation pump(?) is needed. only one problem, however - I forgot which one to get. Is it the right handed rotation one or will the bi-rotational one suffice? I'd like to have it ordered this evening and not have to worry about it tomorrow, but I want to get the right one for an '84 PCM 351. Thanks.

You have a LH rotation engine. Only Nautiques have the RH rotation. Im 99% sure you need the bi-rotational pump.

Somebody correct me here, but didn't some late 70s early 80s MCs use RH rotation? Did I dream this? Just wondering where I got this.

well it is bi-rotational, which would mean both ways so I s'pose I'll get that one, but I'm gonna call DIM tomorrow to make sure it's fit my application.

Good idea.
I used a bi rotational one on my 88 with indmar power. Check ebay for a guy called h20pumpman who does re-manufactured pumps. Mine was $50 and it was as new with warranty.
