(I Know I really shouldnt be putting on a tower, but have to compromise for the kids)

Our 03 209 has a monster tower on it when we bought it. Does fine, but collapses to the rear. Kinda screwy when the cover is on, but we have no need to collapse it. If we did, I'd be replacing the tower. We also have a lift with no canopy because of the tower. Good luck!

No question, ND mini tower with bimini.

Plenty of headroom, even for those who like to stand up while they drive.

thanks for the input... with so many choices it can be hard to choose.. but looking at the photos here, the ND tower looks sweet! Definitely looks like an OEM tower with those lines..

I believe it was the OEM at the time.

ND was OEM manufacturer until 08. The only difference between the oem and buying from ND today is the MC logo I believe. ND mini is by far the best looking tower on a 197

One of my favorites.....2003 Limited Edition. This one with the tower, in particular, I really like!

One Day I Will Have Me A Pro Star 197...definitely With A New Dimension Tower. Thats The Only Tower That Would Ever Need To Be Put On That Boat!! Nothing Else Or You Have Messed It Up!

Yep, an '03 197 limited with a ND tower is hopefully what I will end up with one day, one of my faves too. Just need to come into some cash, or find a well used one for cheap...

What do you think of this. Conquest Power Tower. Adjust to any height you want when you want. Load the racks from the ground without having to swing like a monkey and tow it or stow it in the down position with the flick of a switch. None of the issues of OEM power tower.

I think the ND looks way better than the current MC 197 minitower. I was thinking of getting one myself for my 2005 197. I have one concern though. I park my boat on a lift and would need to lower the tower when go in/out of the boat lift (maybe only when I raise it up). At any rate, how hard is it to fold down? Is it a one person job or do you need two people?

Does anyone have a picture of a folded ND mini tower?

I saw your boat in another thread and thought you had a pretty unique tower (Australian specific??) It actually looks pretty nice compared to a lot of others out there. I'm use to the ND as being the most ideal for this era of boat but maybe after some more staring, I might start liking yours more. Certainly the ability to fold down easily is very interesting.....

ND is far and away the best looking tower on a 197

No, the tower is manufactured in CA. It is one of few four point towers in production. There is a two point tower in pre production which will be awesome. The owner of the company has the patent and owns the technology, unlike the OEM Power Tower there are no integrity issues

This is on a 92 but it would be the same on that year. Very easy to lower with just one person.

It looks like a decent tower... If you look at the second set of pictures on their website, It shows the tower flush mounted to the hull like OEM. Looks much better then with the ball feet things.

BTW, their website SUCKS!!!!!! :mad::mad:

No kidding!! They paid for the hosting, and thats all they did? If they want to sell their sh*t they need to get it together first and get a site that works!
