Hi Folks

Florida in November again but for the first time with my son-in-law who is not into the parks.

Any suggestions about things to do i can only think of some skiing, shooting range air boat tour.

If you have had any great days or trips near Orlando plz let me know not sure on the NASCAR track DAYTONA BEACH visit or a college football game.

Thanks

OWC for some wakeboarding/skiing.
"The Boarding School" is on a private lake near Orlando (Shaun Murray's school), The Projects is also located there.
Sammy Duvall's is run out of the Contemporary hotel at Disney
Learn how to barefoot at a local barefoot school (Scarpa, Lane Bowers, etc.)

Drive a Nascar racecar at Disney speedway (Richard Petty experience)
Take in some college football or basketball?

There is a flow rider at Adrenalina in the Florida Mall (I think that's the right mall). We usually try to go there when we are in town.

I just back from Orlando, and the OWC is a great place to board.

Dont blame him not wanting to piss about with the mouse!

What time frame in November and what is his age??

They have the Turkey Rod Run at Daytona during Thanksgiving

Garlits museum is over in Ocala about a hour drive away

http://www.garlits.com/museum.htm

Fantasy of flight in Polk City about 1/2 hour away from the mouse

And of course out on the Cape you have the Space Center.

For football you have the Tampa Bay Bucaneers and the Jacksonville Jaguars for pro football, college you have the Florida Gators in Gainesville and then in Orlando there is the University of Central Florida, googling any of those should get you on the right track for a football game. But be ready a day at a football game could cost more than a park!

Hope this gives you a few ideas, if you do the Richard Petty driving experience do it in Daytona instead of the Mickey Mouse track they have in the Disney parking lot! If you are really into getting some track time they have Skip Barber in Sebring Fl about 11/2 hour from Disney.

Good Luck and welcome to Florida!
