We live and ride on Coventry Lake (aka Lake Wangumbaug). 10 miles south of Crystal on the other side of I84. Drop me a line to ride if you are over this way.

No, but that doesn't mean we can't or wouldn't. Familiar with the area. Wife went to school there in NoHo, and my brother is up that way in Agawam, but he is usually on his 'Bu at Rainbow Reservour. We don't trailer much except to the launch in april, and from the launch in october :).

Nice. Are there residences on lake zoar? I am not familiar with it. I am up near Storrs. Hoping to get the boat back in tomorrow after finishing up a custom ballast system. Should be able to squeeze a couple more weeks with the heater and wetsuits.

I would say there is about 150 houses directly on the lake. There is a state boat ramp in Southbury. It is the 3rd largest Lake in CT, 975 acres.

Last trip didn't work out and my 22 y/o cousin who is in his first year of working after college is dying to get out for a few turns - he works 80+hrs/week so I want to get him out before it gets too cold. Supposed to be nice Sunday, getting my '79 S&S "ship shape" but you know how these things go - if anyone is heading out Sunday there are 3 of us (two of us and his gf) should the S&S not be seaworthy by then; we'll cover gas/food/drinks....we are skiers and have the equipment - everything except a boat which is currently working...

Great thread. I'm up in the Northwest corner. I'm busy this weekend, wifes 30th. But I'm game almost any other weekend for some boat time. I usually ski with 2 other people, one has a CC and the other a Hydrodyne. We foot, salom, surf. I'm on FB Tim Driscoll Torrington CT, or you can hit up cell 8604800264

Yes I keep the boat on Highland lake., but is out of the water so I can be @ highland or bantam just as easy. Should we try to set something up for next Sunday? Depending on weather

Zoar sounds awesome! I've always heard good things about it, hopefully sometime next year I can get a crew up there from NJ/NYC to ride! (and I'll bring my Skyski!) Where exactly is that state boat ramp located? Is there a fee?

Where is everyone located in or around CT. Maybe we'll be able to set some type of schedule come next season...

Are there any reasonable lakefront homes on these lakes or is everything out of site just like Jersey? (something under $400K would be nice, even just a summer place)

first time!?!? Yikes! It was pouring in CT on Wednesday, I guess it didn't make it over the boarder?

I am available monday, wed or thur anytime next week if you have room for my wife and I. We wakeboard and surf. Alternatively, If you feel like driving to Coventry, CT......our 205v is still in the water too.

all the ballast is out of the boat right now so i can do the interior but it still throws a decent wakeboard wake.
