Completely unbelievable. You would NEVER see anything like that in a salvage yard in this part of the country.

Buy the whole boat and part it out. You can make some good $$$$. Great find just a shame that it ended up where it's at.

I will have to see how much he wants for the whole thing. I am currently redoing a 79 and have limited space for a second boat. I have already removed the windshield and installed it on my 79 since mine came without one. I have not seen the boat in person my brother did said it's rough but ya never know right.
I do like the bar idea or maybe put it through the wall of the garage next to the pool for the bar.
Boat is located out side of Austin not sure where ATM will have to ask bro but I think he said he saw a 74 out there at one of the yards as well I'll find out and get more pics. Might be able to do some scavenging for you guys if they have anything good (that I don't need).

The owner could have given that boat away for FREE to someone who could have fixed it up. Why haul it off to a salvage yard and let it rot? What a waste.

I've mentioned it before, and my wife and I were talking about it again this morning as we walked around the block. My neighbor at the lake has a 78 or 79 S&S sitting in a garage that hasn't ran in years and the trailer sat outside in the woods for several years. He won't take less than $7,000 for it and I told his son that it would take half that much just to get it back to new condition. So many idiots in this world.

get the hull number, maybe someone can research it's history and hang the guy that did this.
but seriously, there are others here that can bring her back to life and turning heads.

She's turning heads still, and she's in a salvage yard!
