Today I wakeboarded behind a Supra Launch Gravity Games Edition and was actully impressed. It reminded me alot of the X2. The wake was really nice. I have read where people have not really liked Supra but after today I like them alot. The Gravity Games Edition looks real good with all the stickers too. 2 features i thought were nice were the hydrolic wake plate and the stadium seating. the back seat goes up to make seats for spotting. Im trying to find a picture but cant.
Just curious what everyone else thinks about Supras?

This reminds me of a thread I started once. It's not around anymore.
My brother in law has a 99 comp. It skis nice. I prefer my Prostar.

I have skied behind a mid 90's TS6M quite a bit. The wake, or lake there of at course speeds is incredible. However, if you are driving you will be white knuckled. The boat tracks like cocka and REALLY makes you work driving thru the course.

Man yer right! Them Superas are great boats. I just got me one. Had to once the tool sold his mastercraft. Will you be my new boat buddy? I got me a girlie you can really sack out your sunsport with. I'll teach you to run the tube course.
Yer my new best friend Ryan27r!

The stadium style seating is not there all the time. The boat has normal seating like the X-2 and then it pops up to the stadium style. The part she is sitting on is the back seat and then the back rest is part of the side seating.
It looks real good on the water. I really like all the stickers. (6balls has stickers like that on his 197 and i like it alot)
also i never realized how cool the tower speakers are. I love being able to be behind the boat and have the tunes pumped so i can hear them.
I dont think it skis to well because it is a V-drive

I have a couple buddies that own legacy's. Each of them has a structural dash crack.
I do foot behind an 89 Sunsport regularly. It seems to have held up better than the late 90's legacy's. But - it's still not a MC. The fit & finish just isn't quite there.

A buddy of mine has one, the stadium seating has been used 2 times, once at the test ride, and once after, then he realized it was just a PITA to put up. Another major drawback in my opinion is the loss of storage space under the seats. Neat concept though.

There WAS a dupicate of the boat shown on our lake in BLACK and RED. 2004 I assume, but now it is gone. And in it's place is a pontoon! I wonder what he thought of it?

Seating isn't everything, it's who is in the seating(notice they don't put many guy's in the picture's) Bikini would have been nice though!

The stadium style seating looks kinda weird though.
Thats because if you tried to use a stadium seat setup in a slalom boat, everyone in the seat would get clotheslined at the neck when the skier cut! :uglyhamme You guys can't even USE a back seat if your skiing!
We've used Supra & Tige' boats with that style of seating & loved it. But we're tied up high too. It gives everyone in the boat a great view of the rider.

Nice boat, bad hull !! Should have bought MC, How's the hull warranty on Supra?
is that photoshop or real. it would take some work to do that.
I think it's real and the story is basically a guy got bad warranty service(he was like the third owner or something) and decided, rather than litigating, to back the trailer down a hill and hit the brakes real hard.

I remember this pic from last season.
I believe the story was that it was brand new and they beached it...

there are a couple of supras on clear lake, nice looking boats but the best part of them is their exhaust, excellent sound, if you like loud boats

Ok now you stepped over the edge. Doug has about 7500 posts on you and most importantly, he is an attorney. Hey Doug how come you didn't tell him that already? From others consensus that seems to be a prerequisite with talking to people! :purplaugh
