Is there an unofficial TT record for most holes drilled into a hull in a single day? I'm thinking my 17 might be up there.

I blame you guys and all your DIY posts.....

4 ballast intake/exhaust thru hull, 4 ballast vents thru hull, 4 sets of pull up cleats = 8, another bilge exit = 1

My wife is not happy with you guys.....

Screwing in carpet with really long screws???

if that happened, i'm pretty sure I'd put it up on craiglist and get a bayliner...not because I want a bayliner, but because I don't deserve a MC.

Technically, the 8 for the cleats probably aren't in the HULL, but in the top deck right? ;)

I say we all pitch in and buy SWeaver a new boat. I'm sure it would make his wife happy!

Good point, so I guess the cleats don't count. That's good, cuz I am going riding (friends boat). Cleats can wait until tomorrow. The 3M 5200 has to dry anyway. So it's "only" 9 today....

I had a pic of her up in the swimsuit thread.....she wasn't happy about that either. She's getting pretty good at getting over things that I do to piss her off.....

Man, that is just wrong putting all those hulls and sources of friction on the bottom of a perfectly good SKI boat. however, it is your boat. Interesting "skull" stars. Need a pic of whole boat on side and interior. What model is it?

It is a 205v, and it is was s perfectly good ski boat.....but now it is a phenomenal wakeboard boat :D
There's some full pics floating around on here from when i got it over winter, and a thread from the skull star decals back in may.

I don't know what I'd replace it with now that they don't make them anymore

Besides, MCs last longer than most marriages. I'm not sure she'd be wise to make me choose. ;)

Correct, but she did come up behind me and saw her bikini pic on that thread. Didnt think she'd mind. Not a good day for me.:D
There's probably a lesson there, but i can't figure it out.

Is that where they put the stock holes for the ballast tanks? If i were doing it I'd put it on the back and low in case you ever had a rupture you could just drive fast to keep water from coming in. But then again I'm a skier :)

From what I hear, an old (ex) wife is more expensive than a new wife and a new MC combined!

Ditch the swiss cheese idea. Just break out the cheddar and get a new boat with all the goodies on it! The wife already mad, roll with it!!

It's no use. It was love at first sight.....I could never want another boat. Unless you mean having 2. I did that for awhile and it was glorious. But ultimately i had to choose. I couldnt keep them both tied up like that.

Edit.....just to be clear, still talking about boats here.:D

Location of the pumps switches routing of pipes and wiring. Stripped out the rear end of mine this past weekend and trying to figure out where to put everything. I have a 2000 XStar (205V). Currently making a manifold but any help would be appreciated.

Probably not until wednesday, but i will get them for you. Meanwhile, "boofer" has a great writeup on his install on a 2005 x2 which has the same hull as ours. Search for it.

this is too funny and maybe extremely sad... I guess that's the good thing about slaloming... no ballast needed...ski too fast to hear the music when the air rushes by at a minimum of 30 mph increasing to 50+ slicing thru the wake...lol
