I'm not a baseball fans but what do you think about Rafeal Palmeiro popping positive for roids after he testified at the Congressional hearing?

Based on what they have done for Pete Rose, he'd deserve it if they would impose it on him. So if they run with the precedents set in Martha Stewart or Little Kim's cases, he will get to serve time for lying.
As it stands, he's still denying it. IF thats the case, their investigation needs to address whoever is feeding these players the supplements & 'roids.

You know Junky I just don't know how somebody "forced" it down his throat or held him down while they stuck him with the needle..

I just think people need to be held accountable for their own actions...... He's a frickin lying doper.......

Is it just me or do any of you wonder how screwed up this world is going to be in the next 20 years??? The last 20 sure have been a mess..

Hurry up asteroid impact, the gene pool needs cleaning real bad.

I can't agree more, Rick. He took it & he knows he took it so he lied, plain & simple. Do not pass go, do not collect $200, go directly to jail.
IF somehow someone fed him something that made him fail this test, then find them & prosecute.

Anyone else noticing how much smaller Giambi & Bonds are this year?!

As a devoted Orioles fan, this is a bad in Baltimore. Just when I thought things couldn't get worse (4-14 since the all-star break) this was the icing on the S@#T cake of a season this turned out to be

Orioles fan since the Brooks/Frank Robinson days. Not much to cheer about lately, but this season looked like it might be different. Doesn't look too good now.

Since we've decided that innocent until proven guilty no longer applies, let me ask you this. Why would anyone sit in front of a Congressional subcommittee and lie to them, especially when he knew that he was subject to a random drug test that could prove him wrong? Either he is the most duped, most stupid or most naive person alive. If he was knowingly taking roids, he is definitely the stupidest person alive because that is practically the only thing that would keep him out of Cooperstown (except for maybe betting on/against the Orioles).

I think someone switched his Viagra; he was probably wondering why he wasn't as good as he once was but he was as good once as he ever was.

There you go again. He was never proven guilty. Just because the buoys at his personal lake moved in before his run and no one else's doesn't mean he's a lousy, no good, cheating liar.

My sincere apologies, I forgot it was his family and friends that did it.

I think this was Jim's last quote: "I would have won if it wasn't for you darn kids" (Can you hear Scooby in the background eating scooby snacks?)

I heard on the radio that he probably will not be charged because they would have a hard time finding out if he was using roids when he testified.

I agree, they need to find the supplier and take them out.

I just heard on the radio that congress is investigating whether or not Raffy lied under oath.
MLB has said that the drug he tested positive for is the same one that Ben Johnson was stripped of his gold medals for taking. And whatever the drug is, it's not found in poppy seed muffins. It's taken by injection.
