What's the difference?
Is $252 a good price for a blank Truth?
Oops I fat fingered that, it should've been Truth/Phanton Truth.

Not sure, but if you come up for Mag Mania I'll let you ride my '04 Phantom Truth.

The Phantom Truth uses the same rocker and flex of the CDX-1, making it more forgiving and easier to ski than the Phantom. $250 is a good price for a Phantom Truth, it is a great ski. The regular "Truth" does not have the carbon composite construction that the Phantom and Phantom Truth used. The Truth is a good ski also, just a little more tame than the Phantom models.

When the truth came out, it got some pretty harsh reviews. Like its predecessor, the CDX, I think it has an aluminum top (could be wrong). That was where the similarity ended. Some people like them. Others, not so much. My wife got an 04 last year and paid about $200-something blank. She really likes it (much more than she liked the ASX). From her first cut, she was able to ski very aggressively on it. I still haven't bothered to try it, but may soon.

I have a Phantom Truth w/ superfeet bindings. I love the bindings but am indifferent on the ski yet. Truthfully I have not skied it enough and really need to tweak it to me. I really would like to try out a Goode, I think I could be persuaded to sell the PT and get a Goode if I liked it.

I have a Phantom Truth with Animal Superfeet bindings and I like it. It is a little tough to get up on at first but once you get it figured out, its nothing.
I got my bindings for $200.
Call Maegan at Trinity Board Shop. Mine were last years models, brand new.

The Phantom Truth is probably the best ski I have been on. I had a CDX a few years ago. When I first got on it I thought I had wasted my money. But after a few sets I fell in love. It was the same way with PT.
I have a Monza now and have rode it around 5 or 6 times. I still am trying to dial it in but the PT right out of the box was tuned great.

Lots of good Monza settings on the Nicholl's Forum (http://eclipse.nicholls.edu/cgi-bin/BBS/webbbs_config.pl)
