Music is great. Videography is very cool. Event is full of all kinds of stupid. They didn't show the one where the kid lands on the far bank and gets mangled for life. Sorry after just having an accident on the water involving my 6 year old, i have a newfound respect for the damage that can happen when you get stupid.

Check out Vooray on youtube, they do stuff like this at Lake Powell too.

Note the guy with the dislocated shoulder in the video:

Some incredible b**lls on a few of those. That one kid looked like he was simply trying to get as many flips in as possible with no regard as to how he landed...Just one of those hits and I'd be laid up for a couple of weeks.

Wow who even thinks of that. Plus who was the first guy to try it??

What the heck is vooray? I know, I know...I'm googling it now. Just never heard of it before. Looks like they know how to party.

And to think all this time, I thought you had to have a $50K+ boat to have that much fun on the water.

That is wicked crazy. He!!, I would give it a shot.

A tubing ramp?? Hmmmmm? So if I build one and someone gets injured, who can I sue? It certainly wouldn't be my responsibility!! :D

If I were in my 20's I'd be doing it. Stupid? Yes, but fun.

I would love to try it!

Hell I have though of a slip and slide down the back yard of our lake house before but a ramp at the end sounds awesome. I might have to up my umbrella policy if I actually build it, haha.

Clearly the tube manufacturer didn't adequately test their design, so they're at least 99% at fault. The lumber company may not have tested this scenario either, so maybe some blame would be assigned to them?

Awesome vid, though. Looked like fun. I like how the rope/pulley started smoking at the beginning of the video... I have a feeling they went through a few of those. :D

The video is on Youtube and the person who shot the video included this in the description. If this is true, you would think they would have stopped after the first two.

"We filmed this in Paradise Utah, on private property. Vooray built the jump and rigged the whole thing together. The distance of the lake was 150 feet. Several people had been flung 120 feet during the filming of the video. And actually... 3 people passed out on impact from hitting the water.... so I wouldn't suggest trying it at home :)"

Why did they not show anyone going over the ramp without the tube? I'd like to see the landing for the group of 10 or 12.

I noticed the same thing! Me thinks it is a massive pile up at the base of the ramp:)

Would definitely try it...seems like it wouldn't be too hard to do it on a larger lake to avoid the possibility of flying across and hitting land.

Any time you have to wear a helmet in a sport that typically doesn't require one is AWESOME.
