View Full Version : Trailer Tire
I had a blowout on one of my trailer tires last weekend. Not overly impressed with the Marathons(especially at the cost). The other 3 are fine and my question is will there be any problem having 3 Goodyears and 1 by another maufacturer?
thanks!!!!!!!

nope, no issues as long as it's the same size.
I am anal enough that I would not only look at the size marked on the tire, but also measure the circumference to insure it was very close to the same.

The other 3 are fine...
That's what I said and replaced just the blown tire. Then another one blew and screwed up my fender. How old are they? If they're more than 6 years old I'd replace them all.

Replacing the blown tire is fine. I wouldn't even worry about any small difference in diameter variation........ it's not as if there were a differential involved. Consider replacing the other Marathons before they have an opportunity to self destruct. Sell them on craigslist. I never run a trailer tire that is more than 5 years old.
