A friend just picked up a 96 205 Sammy edition with the LT-1. Does this boat have the don't go below a 1/4 tank or else attached to it??? Thanks for any help.

Thanks you guys, my 98 doesn't have the in tank pump so I was thinking his might be the same.

I still wouldn't go too low on gas- when it sloshes, the pickup can suck air and the on-engine pump can die from running dry, too. These usually scream a bit first, though.

In-tank pump started in '99. It's not the design, it's the water getting into the fuel that causes problems. Fuel pumps fail in cars/trucks for the same reason.
