I noticed the X-star pulling the PWT has a rear-facing jump seat next to the driver (in the walkway) Anyone know if this is available from MC? If not, would it be hard to make one with a built-in cooler? Might be a good winter project for me.

I know it is an option from MC for new boats.

I have one in my 06 Xstar, it was an option, I think it can be ordered for any pickle fork model Xstar. It slides into a slot under the passenger seat. If you have that slot I'm sure you could order a seat. Honestly I rarely use it.

It is an option, but very hard to find and very expensive.
I made my own kinda. With vinyl work it was about 150.I bought the MC seat for 150.00 and only used seats off it. So 300.00 total
I used treated plywood, wrapped in carpet. I can up with storage behind the seat (trap door) and under seat.
This thing weights about 85-100 lbs. Heavy. Perfect for the walk way weight.
My only complaint is you really have to watch you head climbing over it with the Z5 cargo rack. It leaves a nasty goose egg.
The ones I have seen from MC hook under the passenger seat and have 1 leg on other side pretty unsteardy really.
I was not impressed as I bought the MC seat first and saw how it worked. I changed it right away.
The seat I made can be moved all around the walk thru as it's not fixed.
If I where to do it again, I'd buy a nice no name jump seat, have it covered to match vinyl and build another. The no name seats out there that are under 50.00. Your just going to remove the seats them self and junk the rest.

WOW! Is that really black interior in your boat or is my screen playing tricks on me? How hot does that get in the sun???

No It is all black
It gets hot, We keep towels in the boat just for that purpose.(Cover it up, keep it clean, keep skin from melting off your *** on the seat)
It looks the best though, and it doesn't stain.
I have had black in 2 other boats. Love the look. I tried orange once but didn't like the boat

I would love to see a full pic of the black interior like the orange shot. I bet it looks superbad! That orange interior looks cool too. It looks like some kind of go-fast boat devoted to the Volunteer Navy for tailgating in Knoxville. As a die hard UGA fan, I am pre-disposed to naturally hate anything orange tho. :)
