For someone to re-do all of the vinyl the cost will be between $2,000-$4,000.

If you are willing to do the install yourself...skins run around $1,500

A guy up the street from me quoted about 4k for vinyl and carpet. He does tons of hot rods and restorations. Has been shown in a lot of the classic car mags, so he does pretty good work. He said I would have to leave it with him over the winter.

I had my 205 upholstery redone for $2200 which included a fitted and bound "floor mat" that matched the exact pattern of the floor and keyed into the ski pylon and under dash/into bow so it would stay in place. She did a fantastic job. The next cheapest price for upholstery alone was $3500.

Andyi see you're in the northeast, where was the place that did the work? it might be worth the travel for that cost

She is just outside of Preston, Maryland. Cagle's upholstery. Her family has been in upholstery for 30+ years- she works out of her house. Let me know if you need any additional information.

I found a great guy in northern CT, not far from you. Robert Duncon- He helped me designed the look I wanted. Original but different. I found a computer stiching place in Western Ma as well who copied the MC logo onto swatches , and we used that in various places. Excellent workmanship. He also did all new carpets, and a custome matching boat cover, and captian seat cushion. Wasn't cheap but well worth it PM me if you want to discuss.

The boat just turned 1000 orig miles, so I took a few pics before the hurricane hit. I will post those shortly

I know everything in North Texas is in the Dallas area to some, but Mastercraftskins.com is in Weatherford which is about 30 miles west of Fort Worth.

Not to thread jack but has anyone tried doing it yourself? I cannot imagine that most of these costs are not labour costs.

mastercraftskins got back to me, for all the vinyl excluding the sides which are ok in mine, they want $1900 with about a 4 week turnaround time. i didnt think that was too bad, i'm going to shop a couple local shops and see what they want

They just quoted me 2500. Can it really be a 600 dollar diff for a 209 vs 205?

that was for all the seats and backs but not the sides of the boat, that's probably the difference

Putting skins on isn't all that hard, but extremely time consuming which is why it costs so much. I had 7 hours in taking off my observer seat and my rear back-rest and reinstalling them. If you have the time, you can save yourself $$$$$$$$.
