My friend Josh Palma does all the wakeboard stunts, and Barrett Perlman does all the boat stunts for the girl actress...

Not low budget....they just didn't want to wreck a Mastercraft!

A guilty pleasure kind of movie.....I'll watch it. Can't be any worse than JAWS was years ago.
Lots of CGI, but at least the wakeboard stunts/tricks are real! (I heard Palma did some shark fight scenes and jetski stunts too)

This movie is horrible. It was a waste of money. The best part was when the Epic boat hit the dock and blew up in the first 5 minutes of the movie.

My gf said she would rather catch the flu than have to sit through that movie again.

The last decent shark movie was Deep Blue Sea.. .I figured this one would stink like dead fish!

Just came back from Shark Night 3D. Beside my wife and I, there were about 12 others in the theater - they just packed them in tonight:D... IMO the best part of the movie was watch the wakeboarding sceen, that guy was getting some serious air. Other than that the movie reminded me of texas chainsaw masscacure where everyone on the lake is f**ked up beyoud reality.

Im glad MasterCraft is not associated with such a flop:D

$25m budget, in 2 weeks the movie only grossed $14.5m and $8.4 opening weekend. I'm sure its done already. FLOP!
