I lost an impeller this weekend Its totally thrashed and I am concerned about where all those little pieces of impeller went!! I pulled the hoses and thermostat and everything is
really clean. Any of you guys got any advice am I ok ??

start pulling hoses and check the insides of the hoses... I just had that happen last night!

replacement for your impeller should be a johnson 812.

Could be in the thermostat
or the transmision cooler.
or hopefully shot all the way out.

Check in both directions as mentioned. Little pieces can make it through the system. Back flush with a garden hose.

Don't you have a strainer in your transmission cooler? Pull the raw water-side hose from it and stick your finger in. You likely have a perforated disk in there. It's where bigger pieces, or weeds, will collect. The pieces small enough to get through the transmission cooler are small enough to go through your engine. DON'T pull all your hoses until you've checked the transmission cooler.

When I have checked, I have often found pieces in the level hoses north of the transmission cooler before the water pump as well.
