I listened to the previous posts about selecting the proper anchor, the importance of chain and all of the other important surroundings with regard to an anchor, and then it happened. I have heard of these morons that throw thier anchor and rope all at once only to lose their entire set up. How could someone be so dumb? Frickin' moron? geez!
Well guess what, I was at the bow and was sure the rope was untangled and the anchor was ready so I gave it a toss and immediately realized the anchor "hook" had grabbed the pile of rope laying next to the anchor. Ploooooooosh. In... it all went. I dove after the rope with my shades on and was not sucessful in procuring the anchor or retaining my "shades".
Let me have it, my wife did.
The bad part is that this anchor set up was six, yes SIX days old. aaargh
I have to laugh though ...

Milk,
My wife said I wish I had the video camera. She said the look on my face was worth the money. She also said way to go, nice move and a couple other that I deserved.
