OK, I skied for the first time on double boots last night. Heres my take on it:

I started out 3 times, and got up all 3 with no problems. I found it much easier to start with doubles rather than a RTP. The control factor on the ski was much better than with a RTP. I was more stable, and was more in control of the ski. I was able to cut a bit harder, lean a bit more in my turns. I only was able to ski 3 times , but I could tell in 3 runs that I was really in more control. I did wipeout three times, the 2nd two were a bit more intense as I was pushin a bit hard in the turns and was extended when I bit the aqua. so I rubbed the ribs a bit, nothing major, Im not sore today, but I "knew" I fell. SO it was a very good expereince. Thanks again to all who got me started on my way to starting on one ski. :toast:

NOw this REALLY peakes my interst about getting a new ski. With the added control factor involved with double boots, I think I can really progress. I am gonna be gassing for a new ski now!!!! :o

I also am going to type a separate post about my new prop I tested out too if your interested in reading.

Like me, once you go with double boots, there's no going back to a RTP.

Anything that makes skiing more fun is always worth the time and money.

Sounds like you've progressed more in the last 2 weeks than you have in many years! True?

Just wait until the day you can ski without skis!
That was the biggest rush to me.
