I was going to order the LiquidLite 6LED drain plug LED. When ordering it says be sure to know the size of your drain plug hole?

Does anyone know what size the plug is on a 2006 X1?

Thanks!

Just spoke with Mike over there and he said the MC used a special thread pattern on the drain plug. Hopefully he has the white LED with the new threads in stock!

can you post up some results on this when you get them installed. Ive been debating on lighting and this seems like an easy option if it provides decent lighting.

will do, i went with the 800 lumens 6 LED one. Well, I haven't purchased anything yet as I am waiting for the call back about the thread size.

Can always change out the hull plug if it doesn't work.

True. He said he had the ability to put different threads on it, but was going to see if he had one in stock.

So they have created a fitting for our mastercraft threads and offer it at the same price point.

I went a head and ordered the White 6 Led version. I should have it by the end of the week and will post some install / visual pictures.

The owner of the company said he could offer incentives if we did a group buy.

I will keep everyone updated.

Uh, don't think this will work unless you have a plug in the rear of your boat. Aren't most right in front of the motor? Or is that only in direct drive boats?

They need to make one that will be flush to the bottom of the boat. I'd be interested.

I have a plug in the back and in the front. They had to re-thread the bolt so that it would fit mastercrafts thread patterns. I should have it by the end of the week.

that's like keeping the spare key to your car in the glovebox

or keeping the keys to the boat glove box in the glove box so you can't lock them in.........and then figuring out a 3 hour tow will somehow magically move the cylinder to lock

I've actually been contemplating buying this to install in the plug at the botton of the boat. I think it would be cool to have something downfiring, to make it glow under the boat.

This is the one accessory that I really want to add to my 05 XStar. Any feedback on results of install? I'd also be interested in how and what you wired the light switch.

Five years ago, I installed a pair of blue underwater lights on my Sea Don't Speedster. Purchased lights and fuse kit from Oznium for cheap. The lights look bad *** at night, but I am not interested in drilling any holes in my XStar.
